Keeper 3.2

This is a list of features and bug fixes that are in the Keeper 3.2 update, released on May 3, 2007.

Unless otherwise noted, all updates are for both the original Pepper Pad (Pad 2) and the Pepper Pad 3.

USB Ethernet device support (GUI for setting up and configuring - see here) (not supported on Pad 2)
Document Library (New Application) for storing / viewing downloaded PDFs and other documents - see here. (Pad 2 does not support viewing PDFs)
Remote Desktop (previously a developer's preview app) is now available generally: allows you to remote control a Windows desktop. (Not available on Pad 2)
Remote Control: Macro support - the ability to create buttons which perform multiple functions. ref
Remote Control: ability to edit / view raw hex codes for a device.
Video Library: can now create, store, and share videos using the Pad 3's built-in camera. Can also store and view videos encoded with the DivX codec.
Photo Library: "enhanced interface" - looks like you can now have multiple named albums in your photo library for grouping photos
Journal: can now export or e-mail pages from Journal.
Web Browser: can now export downloads to USB, and the Downloads tab shows you where the file went (what application or location)

Updated Helix and ALSA sound libraries
Adobe Reader 7.0.9 update
Firefox 1.5.0.9 core with <CANVAS> and SVG support - see here
Fixed keypad driver
Ctrl-K is now keyboard shortcut for search box
No longer displays open app flags from previous session
Fixes to touchscreen calibration
Audio fixes to A/V out
Wifi: fixes for losing Wifi connection, difficulty connecting to AP, auto-connect to access point with strongest signal for open APs and roaming groups
Mail: fixes to AOL accounts, improved responsiveness
Music Library: fixed sorting and track display
Talk: report AIM / AOL server error messages, fix for Pidgin (GAIM) buddies always appearing offline
Photo Library: photo import date string is missing AM/PM info, UPnP photo import broken using latest Windows Media 11, duplicate nodes appearing under UPnP, detect duplicate photos on import, address autocomplete not working in mail photo dialog, save photos in non-mirrored orientation, improve camera image quality, tree needs immediate feedback when browsing UPnP share
Video Library: proper handling of video files with uppercase file extensions
Web Browser: fix for bookmarks lost after crash, "authentication required" when trying to keep certain pages.

These are items that are confirmed as being worked on but are also confirmed as *not* being in 3.2
