Software Wishlist
From PepperWiki
PLEASE NOTE Performing any of the software updates listed on the HowTos linked from this page could very well VOID YOUR WARRANTY, or at least induce a non-covered fault in your Pepper Pad. It is strongly urged that you only attempt such nonsense if you have backed up your device, know what you are doing, and are comfortable with going and purchasing a new Pepper Pad or paying for repairs should it stop functioning. The authors of the HowTos and this Wiki don't assume any responsibility if you brick your device.
This page documents this list of software applications that the community wants to have available for the PepperPad. This might include software that already exists on the linux platform, software that needs porting, or completely new software. Not all of these items need to be specific titles, broader functional descriptions work too.
If you know of software that fulfills one of these wishes, please move it to the "Granted" section of the page and write up specific instructions on how to setup and use the software.
Note: all of these wishes are on the PepperPad3 platform. If someone wants to set up a version 2 page, link it here.
[edit] Wishes
The number after each item is the unofficial number of "votes" for the software. DaveSanders added this to guage what items are most desired by the community. Feel free to go in there and incremement the counter by 1 if you are interested in it.
